TRANSCRIPTION AND REPLACEMENT IN THE EVENT OF LOSS OR THEFT

Boating licenses that were issued in the former Yugoslavia and have not yet been rewritten are no longer valid.

The following boating licenses will be converted:
→ Voditelja Brodice
→ Mornar Motorist
→ Boat Leader’s License Of Competency (without radio!)

The prerequisite for this is that you also have a maritime radiotelephony license
(e.g. “Radiotelephone Operator”).

For holders of old licenses with included or separate radio authorization, transfers are made informally to the new Boat Skipper B (coastal license B).

If you have a patent without a radio license, you can take a simple VHF radio supplementary test through us. It is not necessary to attend a course. You can find information on this here → Radio certificate.

All you have to do is scan all the documents listed below digitally in good quality and send them to us by e-mail to info@kustenpatent.info. In rare cases we need the documents by post. However, we will contact you if this should be necessary.

Required documents:

✓ Copy of old patent (front and back)
✓ Copy of marine radio authorization
✓ Copy of passport or identity card
✓ 2 passport photos (3 cm high x 2.5 cm wide)
✓ Home address and telephone number

The passport photos in particular must be scanned in very good quality!

Fee: 80.- Euro incl. Shipping (payment by bank transfer – all information will be sent by e-mail).
Duration: approx. 3-6 weeks until the new boat license is in your mailbox.
